Ellis Island Casino Beer Prices
Restaurant menu, map for Ellis Island Casino & Brewery located in 89109, Las Vegas NV, 4178 Koval Ln. I always enjoy visiting Ellis Island for the incredible value. The $2.00 draft brews are unbeatable in price. The steak special is a can't miss and is worth a walk from the strip. My last visit, I took my Fifty Fifty in for a growler fill. Founded in 1968, Ellis Island Hotel & Casino has been a local favorite for nearly 50 years. Our hotel, casino and brewery, located just a block off the Las Vegas Strip, provides our guests with a comfortable, memorable experience through our unique amenities, great service and delicious food.
It’s not a well-kept secret that prices in Vegas, especially on the Strip, have been on an upward trajectory. A bottle of domestic beer at a casino bar can set you back upwards of $7… That’s what a 12 pack should cost. Luckily, there are still places to grab a cheap beer or cocktail on, and within walking distance, of the Las Vegas Strip.

Ellis Island Brewery: Tucked behind Bally’s just off the Strip, Ellis Island is a diamond off the beaten path. The brewery at Ellis offers 6 permanent beers and a rotation of seasonal selections. The simple truth is that Ellis’ brewery produces great beer and at $2.50 for a 20oz. glass, it’s a steal.
Stage Door Casino: On your way to and from Ellis Island, hit the grimy (we say that lovingly) Stage Door Casino directly behind Cromwell. Stage Door offers $1 Michelob or $2 draft Bud/Bud Light. If you’re hungry a 1/4 pound hot dog paired with a beer is $3.
It’s certainly not upscale, but if you feel out of place at the trendy, stuffy bars on the Strip, this could be your spot to grab an inexpensive drink in Las Vegas.

Rockhouse at Venetian: A daily happy hour running Monday – Friday from 2 pm – 7 pm, you can score $5 Jameson and Patron cocktails.

Casino Royale: A cheap beer staple on the Strip for some time, Casino Royale had offered a $1 Michelob Ultra for years. Unfortunately, the price recently increased to $3 but includes a wider selection of domestic and imported bottled beer. Still a fantastic drink bargain in the middle of the action on the Las Vegas Strip.
Peppermill Las Vegas: Located just north of Wynn and Encore, Peppermill stands alone as one of the more unique bar/restaurant experiences in Las Vegas. Grab a half-price beer/well drink during happy hour which runs from 3-6 pm and take a seat next to the indoor fire pit.
Convenience Stores: Lastly, don’t forget about the plethora of Walgreens and CVS stores popping up on the Strip as an option if you don’t mind taking your drink to go. If unfamiliar, you can walk the strip with a drink in hand legally and the price is right!

Ellis Island Casino Beer Prices Guide
The Ellis Island Casino & Brewery is located near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The casino offers 350 gaming devices, as well as a restaurant and a brewery.
History[edit]
The Village Pub was opened in 1967 by Frank Ellis, who eventually passed it on to his son, Gary.[2]
The name was changed to Ellis Island in 1985.[3] On September 19, 1997, Ellis Island opened a large portion of a $12 million renovation and expansion, which doubled its slot machine count to 410 and introduced table games by adding six blackjack tables.[3]
In 1995 Ellis relaunched the Village Pub brand.[4] As of 2020, the family owns and operates 12 Village Pub restaurants in the Las Vegas area.
Ellis agreed in 2004 to manage and take joint ownership of the nearby Tuscany Suites and Casino, which had struggled to attract customers in its first year.[2] The agreement fell apart when Tuscany officials allegedly backed out.[5]
Later that year, Ellis signed on to the planned 46-story Aqua Blue condo-hotel project to replace an adjacent Super 8 motel. Ellis Island would manage the Aqua Blue casino, and would itself be renovated to match the new tower.[6] However, the project was cancelled in June 2005, due in part to rising construction costs.[7]
In 2014 Ellis bought the adjacent Super 8 motel, creating a vertically integrated hotel and casino business.[8] In 2018, the hotel's rooms and facilities were renovated.[9]
Planning for an expansion project began in 2017, with construction work commencing later that year.[10] After some delays, in December 2019 Ellis Island opened the 'Front Yard' with a new restaurant, bar and beer garden.[11]
In 2018 the Ellis family acquired the Mount Charleston Lodge at Kyle Canyon.[12]
Brewery[edit]
Ellis Island Casino Beer Prices Today
In 1993, Ellis established a brewery on the premise and tasked brewmaster Joe Pickett with brewing a variety of beers for the casino's restaurants.[13] Regular brews include Lager, Light Lager, Amber Ale, India Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Stout and Root Beer, as well as seasonal specials.[14]
With 3345 barrels produced in 2009, Ellis Island Brewery was the largest brewpub in the Mountain West region (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming).[15]
In 2018, the brewhouse capacity was doubled[16] and two new brewmasters, Eddie Leal and Michael Key, were hired to run the brewing business.[17]
In December 2019, Ellis established Silver Reef Brewing Company in St. George, Utah, adding annual capacity of up to 10,000 barrels to the brewing business.[18]
